Hilariously fake Rolex online
I was browsing through an online auction site to-day when I saw an auction for a laughably fake Rolex sold as a 'Presidential Designer Inspired Watch'. One look at the pic associated with it showed a fake of a Rolex with the (in)famous aftermarket diamond bezel and the Rolex markings blurred out. No, not removed from the watch - blurred out of the picture, the same way they blur people's faces in amateur adult pictures. There's enough not blurred out to tell that yes, that's a Rolex crown and the word ROLEX that got blurred. I have a picture here for your viewing displeasure, but will not post it until and unless the mods / admins give permission. Has anyone else here seen a seller attempting such a laughably poor excuse for selling a fake? I mean, did this guy honestly think no one could tell?

What a beautiful watch. It was rather large but didn't look so big on my wrist. Felt much lighter than my Daytona. Makes me want to find a RB2 in Ti. The red date wheel really sets off the dial along with the mirror polished sides of the bezel. The only part I didnt care for is that it has a buckle and the rubber strap was so wide. Why don't they make a deployment buckle for these new 44s?Also what is the rotor material made from? My relative that owns it thinks its platinum but wasn't sure. It looked too dark to be platinum to me. Here it is dwarfing my Daytona.

My first post on the AP forum, and based on my first comment maybe my last, there, all legal disclaimers listed up front. I know AP is one of the absolute top rank watch brands. So naturally one should be on my purchase plan to round out my humble collection. Now for the disclaimer, unlike EVERYBODY I am sure on this AP forum I just don't like the signature OAK style AP watches, but I understand why others do.As a result I am drawn to some of the vintage AP watches including some of the moonphase styles, the old slim line gold watches, but I also like the basic and plain Millenary in SS with a leather band.Will I be looked down on by the big hitters with their 6 digit big ticket platinum OAK's if I start with the humblest of the breed.... In truth is there anything I should know as a watchout on these basic AP's I am assuming they are still made with a AP automatic movement and that they should be reliable and dependable.
