Panerai PAM 270 wrist watches news:
So you wanna build a watch? It is a common dream of enterprising watch lovers to simply posit "I just want to start my own watch brand." It actually isn't as hard as you might think. There is a universe of services, companies, and resources to help you when starting from scratch. In fact, aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer contributing writer Paul Hubbard wrote a post on this very topic here. There you'll find information on actually making the watch, but more importantly is funding your project.Whether you are interested in starting a new brand or just building a one or two models, you'll need money upfront for the design and prototyping. Then you'll need more money for the industrialization and actual production. In between are costs for marketing, customer service, and a series of other little money-eaters.The potential pay-off is real. If you build a nice-looking watch you can made a handsome profit, given a reasonable margin on your production and design costs. Though, funding a larg
I'm very happy to see this up and running. I hope you American watch aficionados have a good time here.
Here is my 1st IWC. It's a caliber 83 from 1947 and appears to be all original including the crown.IMG_8159a.JPGIMG_8149a.jpgIMG_8150a.JPGIMG_8151a.jPG
I was in high school at the time. I repaired electric and some mechanical clocks. This was in Kansas City. I always had a fascination with mechanical objects. Today, after going through the digitals, LED, quartz and so on I wear a selfwinding Seiko. I have several old pocket watches purchased at auctions and a Baylor chronograph wind up (I understand this was made from TAG parts) that I bought in 1970. I will sit back and look at posts and comment if I have anything worth while to add.
Finally wore my black dial 500 today.I know itĄŻs hard to tell the time quickly, but I couldnĄŻt care less. At times it takes two seconds, but I still push it to three. Honeymoon period obviously.Btw IĄŻm not a race driver, solicitor or have a job that dictates telling the time quickly or covertly. So stare I can. I especially love gloss black dials. So for me It had to be black dial with black bezel. Those that buy white because they dig it, fine. Those that blindly buy white because of the higher resale value, even if they prefer black, behave yourself.Btw, this is all tongue in cheek. Long live the Daytona!(Sent from iPad, and iPad pic is too large - watch guy, not a computer guy!)
