Panerai PAM00111 wrist watches news:
If you’ve been following HODINKEE lately, you probably know that this is a big weekend in the watch auction world. And the watch that has probably attracted the most attention is Patek Philippe’s contribution for Only Watch, a piece unique 5016 in steel. Why? Because, as Jack alludes to here, there has been a widespread consensus that if the right elements came together, this watch could become one of the highest priced wristwatches of all time. 1 OF 2 Patek Phillipe for Only Watch 2015 ADVERTISEMENT Well, the hammer just dropped on the Patek and we have the result. After back and forth bidding between two phone bidders for the last 2 Million CHF, the watch sold to a phone bidder in English (probably from the UK, based on the fact that Paul Maudsley was the Phillips employee taking the bid), and the final price was 7,300,000 Swiss Francs (CHF), which makes it the #1 wristwatch of all time! A very strong result that shows
Just wanted to say hello. By way of background I live in the Boston area, own three Omegas (Great White, Bond SMP and a Speedy Pro). Beyond that, I believe in freedom of speech and second chances. I look forward to spending some time with all of you guys.
Hi All. I am new here and the reason I am here is to find out information on a watch I have come across. Several years ago inherited my great uncles trunk with alot of Iwo Jima contents in it, and with all the contents I found an old Hamilton Watch. My uncle had no family, just my grandmother, so thats why I inherited this. I want to know what the value of this watch might be. We are looking to sell to a collector because we are not watch collectors. Can anyone give me any information on this watch, value? And how I may be able to sell this? Thanks in Advance for any info you may be able to give...Krystalakzcampbell@suddenlink

I just purchased a new PO from an AD. The watch is running +4.5sec /day which as you all know is within COSC specs. If I have my local watch maker regulate it, the warranty will be voided. I contacted my local Omega AD about getting it regulated and their reply was : As an Authorized Dealer of Omega, we can send your Planet Ocean in to Omega for a service under warranty. Omega does not authorize any in-house watch makers for warranty service. There will be no charge, I will however need the warranty card and it will take 6-8 weeks to complete. The Planet Ocean is Chronometer Certified and this means that the time keeping needs to fall within a specific daily rate. That rate is -4 seconds to +6 seconds a day. This means that your timepiece is working within the Chronometer Certified range so I cannot guarantee that sending it in to Omega for regulation will change your daily rate significantly.Does anyone here have experience sending a watch to Omega for regulating? I know the 850
