Panerai PAM 104 wrist watches news:
The minds at Linde Werdelin?are adding to their?Oktopus Moon watch?collection and, yes ¨C before you can ask ¨C there are only going to be 59 made, the number of days in two 29.5-day lunar cycles. The new Linde Werdelin Oktopus MoonLite White is the latest iteration of the series that started?with Gold and Black, and continued?with?a funkier watch in the form of an?engraved 18k rose gold version. Going in a sleeker direction, this Linde Werdelin Oktopus MoonLite White?looks crisp and every bit as cool as its predecessors. The color isn't the only thing that is new with this watch: Linde Werdelin?has redone the dial, which is made up of 5 layers, to have the top layer further skeletonized. This allows more phases of the moon to be seen by the wearer at the 10 and 11 o'clock positions. In addition, LW has gone and created an "aerospace material" that they're calling Alloy Linde Werdelin (or "ALW"). And while that may?sound a little gimmicky, according to Linde Werdelin it's half the weight
In case you haven't heard, Longines is celebrating their 180th anniversary this year, and they have released a special collection to celebrate. A highlight for us is the limited edition Single Push-Piece Chronograph, which is an awesome vintage-inspired column-wheel, mono-pusher chronograph.Longines has a rich history in producing great chronographs, and this piece is no exception. The limited edition Single Push-Piece (Ref. L2.774.8.23.x) has a 40mm 18k rose gold case that houses a Longines Calibre L788.2, developed with ETA (who call it the A08.261). The case has rounded sides and wears really nicely on the wrist. It's refreshing to try on a brand new, moderately-sized chronograph. 2 OF 18 The Decorated Movement and Case 3 OF 18 Vintage-Style Wire Lugs There's no mistaking the vintage inspiration on this watch. The vintage-style lugs, white lacquer dial, fancy arabic numerals, blued steel hands, script logo, and crown design all scream vint
AP owner, is crown problem is a common for AP watches ?So far I had 3 AP watches that has the same problem .. crown. The Crown, you can keep winding it after adjust the time and cant be locked.Happened to my previous GP, RG and my new GP. Never had any problems with other my other brands, and also I hardly wore these watches since I always rotate my watches on the weekend wear only.I asked AP Clearwater and they never can give me the answer.
In reading old threads and doing an internet search there does seem to be some disagreement on which watch Aldrin wore as he stepped onto the moon, 105.012 or 145.012. Since Aldrin's watch was lost/stolen we will never know for 100% certain. However the following article certainly makes it look like Aldrin wore a 105.012. Opinions? Do some of you believe Aldrin wore a 145.012, and if so why?monochrome-watches/omega-...rly-pre-moons/
Between the rose gold Aquanaut and the SS version ( either rubber or bracelet ), which one would be your choice and why?Let me say, I first thought the RG would be more of a PP watch than the SS version -- the rubber/SS seemed quite simple to me, on my newbie conclusions. what do you guys think? best and thanks in advance
