Invicta 1653 The Related Reviews:
- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this watch, I found the best price here and I just had to buy it. I've been on a watch shopping frenzy lately and this is a great addition to my growing collection of watches. I received the watch in two days and I've been wearing it almost every day. The band is plastic but it doesn't look cheap at all. It was huge on my wrist right out of the box (all watches are on me) but I have a watch band adjusting kit and I removed a few links EASILY!

Invicta 1653 wrist watches news:
I got all caught up in the excitement of the auction and won this last Friday! I have never bought a watch from the 'bay before, much less actually bid on anything. It was a rush! I was looking for a good looking american vintage watch, one that wasn't in perfect condition to use as a sort of intro project watch. I immediately got nervous that this one wouldn't come with a caseback after i bought it, because it wasn't in any of the sellers pictures. But it has one and is a waterproof one to boot! i don't plan on going swimming or showering with it though, don't worry.i love the dial on this...good running 21j movement, can anyone notice what important part is missing here? One more for good measure. for less than 30 bucks i'm quite happy, ready to clean the dial and find a good leather strap for this one.hope you all enjoy, all comments any advice on what to use to clean the dial are welcome!
After finding out that the humble $200 watch and the mighty $10,000 watch will both have the same movement if it is a automatic.........The question inevitabley follows......then aside from lots of diamonds on a few of the pricey ones .....What is it about the expensive watches that makes them so expensive ? ......I was under the impression that companies like Hamilton, Bulova, and Illinois when they were making their own movements back in the early to mid 20th century were fully equal to any of the Swiss companies......and while most of their models were not cheap, I still remember seeing the ads in old National Geographic, from the 20s and 30s, of both Elgin and Hamilton.....at the bottom of the ad it says.....Mens watches from $35 to $5,000 and that was a whole lotta money in those days ! .......Now I uderstand that the watch business and the manufactering of them has changed dramatically, but I still want to know ....why are those watches so expensive.....?????
Hi everyone surprise incoming for the 26331ip that had been delayed for quite some time. Wanted to share in case some wanted to see! Surprise that it made it in 2017, as it was potentially delayed until Q1 of 2018. Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Hi all,Been getting a bit crazy with APs lately and wanted to know if there are any strap options for the 15202... I tried calling AP about it but it doesnt look like there are plots for the watch... Im willing to put on the plots from the 15300 or 15400 if they fit but those might only be in WG or Plat... expensive option but will consider it.The other option is go to AP bands as they have a conversion kit for 15400s, 15300s and 15202s... has anyone had experience with these? If I do get the plots from AP bands as it might be my only option, would you know any AP OEM straps that fit? Such as straps from he 15300? Thanks a lot guys, any help is appreciated.Best,Brian
