Panerai Panerai 49762 wrist watches news:
WatchTime and noted watch collector and expert Jeff Kingston have teamed up again for the 2014 edition of the popular ¡°Inside Basel.Geneva¡± series of collector events, kicking off September 5 in Chicago. Among the core sponsoring watch brands is the recently revamped Arnold & Son brand, which will showcase its limited-edition Arnold & Son DSTB (Dial Side True Beat) at the events.Part of Arnold & Son’s Instrument Collection, the DTSB was created as a tribute to 250th anniversary of the brand, which traces its history back to the pioneering English watchmaker John Arnold (1736-1799). Arnold and his son were pioneers in the making of highly precise marine chronometers, essential timekeeping tools for that seafaring era that helped determine one’s longitude at sea.The Arnold & Son DSTB, a limited edition of only 50 pieces, has its entire “true-beat” seconds mechanism ¡ª the hands, lever, wheels, and rose-gold-plated bridges ¡ª mounted entirely on the d
Evening gents!I picked up a digital microscope right before I left for Europe, but have just tonight had any time to play with it. I surely need more practice, but the first round of photos I took of my Daytona impressed me:Escapement:Count the dots!
Wow what a great site! I have my father Hamilton watch and I would like to get some info on it.I know he bought the band later and it is soild gold and very heavy. The crystal has been replaced. He died in 1994 so I don't know when he would have bought it but I am guess in the fifties. My brief research points me to a Boone style but it was not made after the 30's so this watch may have been my grandfathers.Sorry the photo's are not betterBall park, how much would it cost to have the watch cleanedAlso ball park how much is just the watch worth, not the band. No I am never going to sell it.
