Panerai PAM 299 wrist watches news:
Welcome to a new side of MB&F. This new watch is not a new Horological Machine. It does not exist as part of any current collection from the forward thinking brand. Rather, this is the first watch in MB&F's new product family - this is the Legacy Machine 1 (LM1). The Legacy Machine watches will exist as the other side of MB&F. Their products from now on will either fall into the Horological Machine range or the Legacy Machine range. Retaining the MB&F DNA all around, these watch collections will be like family members separated by 100 years of history. For Max Busser of MB&F, the Horological Machine collection of watches are extensions of the things that inspired him while growing up. Things such as race cars, planes, and spaceships. The Legacy Machines use this same idea, but under the fantasy assumption that Max was born 100 years earlier. The idea makes sense when he talks about it. Busser is talented at delivering his ideas and motives so naturally you'd be
It's been a really long time since I started one of these threads.I'm going with the Tissot T-Touch Expert today although, for some reason, I can't seem to get a photo posted.GRRRRRRRRRR...
In honor of the first snowfall/flurry () here in Chicago I thought it would be interesting to see which watches with white dials members favored.I am also leaning towards a white dialed watch for my next purchase so I was also hoping to get some ideas from all you guys (and of course all you ladies are also invited to chime in).I'm reeaaallly liking the Omega "Great White" 2538.20 But I would love to see (pics pleease ) some other white dialed watches
Could some of the expert in Panerais or any of you who open and repair watches as a job tell me whatever you know about this movement? I am asking because it goes in watches costing quite a bit more than similar Rolex and very closed to base models AP but to my (probably not experienced) eye does not look at the same level of the movements of these brands. In fact, to my bad eye, does not even look to the same level of many high-end Seikos which cost waaaaaay less.GLF
I have an affinity for the Rose Gold, and really like the GMT but have hoped and expressed my love for a RG SubMariner...I would be more of a buyer for the GMT II, and although I could get a pretty decent fit with my previous BLNR, I worry with the extra weight of PM, it may be hard to get the right fit...I'm almost relegated to the Glidelock...Who's Hoping to be the first five to purchase the GMT II and ?
