rubber blues
recently i acquired an early 18mm omega rubber deployant. it's the butterfly type which has friction latches. it came on rather thin black rubber pieces which have a grey line painted length-wise on.in my naivety, i thought i'd just get an after-market navy blue flat rubber deployant and swap the rubber pieces over. but having searched fairly extensively, i cant find anything in navy blue, or in fact any sort of blue, that's flat. tyre tread, F-1, etc, etc, but nothing flat. it seems the only colour available that's flat is black. this seems rather odd to me given the popularity of blue dialed watches.thoughts anyone?

Another Monster Question
New to the forum and very much enjoying it.I've decided a Monster is a must and am in the process of ordering.I think I understand from earlier threads the numbering system as to implications related to origin and am interested in whether there are any differences in the watch or warranty coverage between a SKX779K1 and a SKXA43 if I buy from an authorized dealer and forum sponsor. From what I've been able to review, I don't think there is but would appreciate any insight.Thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting a Monster!Steve

about TRIAS watches?They come from Germany and are super inexpensive. Most are automatic movement and a lot of them are 21+ jewel. I've been checking out some pilot watches. They make a pretty cool one that is very inexpensive. Obviously, they aren't top notchbut how do they hold up for their value?All of their watches are pretty slick.
