Hi All, My first post in AP forum, greetings to all. My Perpetual Royal Oak just landed, and I had ordered both navy rubber and leather to have options with the bracelet. Magic. Not set yet, but just look at that moon...

Tried on a PP WorldTimer in Platinum
For fun I tried on a PP WorldTimer in platinum and wow, what a solid feel.The platinum made the watch quite heavy on my wrist (I've never had a platinum piece), which was very different from my Sub and FC WorldTimer (I know, no comparison, just trying to plan to join you heavy-weights).But I liked the heaviness -- I could feel I had something special on my wrist.On the downside, the model I tried had a dark blue center on the dial and the hands were nearly invisible, which surprised me. I had a hard time seeing the time. The size was modest compared to most men's watches these days, though I have small wrists, so no problem for me.All in all a fun experience, but if I acquire a PP, it won't be this model.
