I remember my father wearing it more than 20 years ago. However, he no longer wears it and just keeps it in his drawer, and I'm sure that he has not brought it in for servicing in many many years. He is now turning 65, so I'm thinking of maybe making it a surprise "gift" for his birthday, by getting it serviced and restored.A few points: The watch still runs, both by rotor-winding and by hand-winding. It seems to be running slow by 7 seconds in 6 hours; You should be able to spot some corrosion on all three hands in the second picture; maybe my father has worn it to our family business factory, which uses all kinds of chemicals; so the corrosion may be a result of chemical fumes, I don't know.
