Like its predecessors, the Histoire de Tourbillon 6 is obviously a legacy watch. Grandiose pieces likely don't see the most wrist time. That, however, doesn’t make them any less grandiose. This watch is essentially composed of two independent sections. They are geometrically recognizable as circles versus square. Like every other installment in the Histoire de Tourbillon series, each section of the Histoire de Tourbillon 6 explores and evolves the concept of the tourbillon. 1 OF 7 The orbs to the left of the case are part of a tri-axial tourbillon, which means three different spins in one. The balance wheel cage spins every 45 seconds inside a second cage, which spins every 75 seconds on its own vertical axis. This pair is housed inside a third, spherical cage that revolves every 300 seconds. Who here remembers prime factorization? Antimagnetic Watches
Received the following about Sinn's approach to magnetic fields and I thought I'd share it with all of you. Please feel free to also provide details on how other watches approach magnetic fields, such as Rolex Milgauss for example. For those Sinn watches that offer the maximum protection of 80,000 A/m,:1. Using special case materials and steel that feature highly anti-magnetic properties. Since Sinn produces many of these cases in-house through their affiliated company SUG in Glashutte, Germany, they have more control over the case building process and materials used in those cases.2. The case back also integrates materials and components to shield the movement. For example, my 857 does not have a "movement cover" made of soft iron. The materials are built into the case back.3. The movement itself is mounted using components to shield against magnetism. ROO 25 Anniversary RG Tourbillon
SIHH for me SIHH was as I predicted disappointing. The only watch I'd love to get is the ROO 25th anniversary Tourbillon in rose gold, which sadly is considerably beyond what I¡¯d be comfortable to spend on a watch, at this time at least. I did ask how much it was but have forgotten. A pity, as I think it¡¯s one of the most beautiful designs I¡¯ve ever seen -I think the case design and pusher design is awesome. I asked if this case style might be adopted for other less rarefied 44s in the future, but it seems, sadly, the answer is no. What I haven't put over in these pics is the depth of the piece, it is so utterly 3D. Beautiful!

Recommended AD in PA/NY/NJ
I have made up my mind to trade in my GMT Master II and replace it with an Omega PO 42mm 8500. I had been planning on taking a trip out to Tourneau in King of Prussia to look into this but just discovered that they no longer carry Omega.I would really appreciate it if any knowledgeable TRF members might be able to steer me toward a good AD in PA/NY/NJ (hopefully near Philadelphia) to do this; preferably an AD that would give a reasonable discount to a first time purchaser Thanks in advance for any advice.
