After drooling over this model for a few years, I was approached by a friend with an incredible deal that I could not say no to. While this is one of the models that people either love or hate, I truly like its understated characteristics and like the fact that in the event that the bezel gets beat up, I can upgrade to a ceramic one and give it a brand new look! That line probably let the cat out of the bag but I will let the pictures do the talking. I am one HAPPY CAMPER!!! WTF no watch? Feels so good on the wrist. Rubber Bezel, scratched
My rubber bezel got a little nick/scratch in it, actually a very very slight slice on the surface. Should I just live with this?To the other Rubber Clad owners, do you have any nicks/scratches on your rubber bezel?Full bezel replacement is $700

Omega Caliber 2500 Gold Plated?
Hi Folks,Wondering if parts from all the omega calibers' are gold plated. I was looking at the product technical sheet for the Seamaster 300 (that uses the Caliber 2500), but didn't suggest any gold plating or engraving. If not gold, what's the yellow substance on the parts of the caliber 2500 (see attached pic)? Thanks,A
