Help with Winding Issue
I just received a Diver Date from joma. Perfect condition upon initial inspection. Went to wind the watch and something just doesn't feel right. Winding just isn't very smooth. There is definitely some friction. I am concerned b/c I just sold a brand new (authorized dealer purchase) Aquis. I believe the two watches have the same movement in them. The Aquis seemed well lubed without even a hint of friction when I wound it. Am I over analyzing it? Will the mechanics of the watch smooth out with time? Or should I be sending this back? To be clear, the watch the watch is keeping time, but I'll have to give it a few days to see how much it is off.

3 years old today!
This is a landmark for a mechanical watch in my collection - my Breitling Chrono Cockpit turned 3 today. I thought I'd post a few pics of it in it's various configurations over the time I've owned it.A couple dial close-ups that I've experimented with in various lighting:Some shots of when I first got it (boy, was I a poor photographer!):Some vaction shots:.and of course, this is still my favorite macro wrist shot:I think it's a keeper!

Anyone Had PO Polished/Repaired?
Any PO owner experience a accidental drop incident and then had the victimized watch repaired by an authorized Omega service center? Had my mishap when a wasp gave me a painful sting on the palm of my left hand -- whipped my arm about in response to the sting and the watch went flying. Abraded scratches on the metal band and screw-down crown. There not bad and should polish out. I'd love to see some examples of re-polishing and repair. Please make me feel better. Thanks, Scott

So I like the new Pepsi gmt so much...
I called three local ad��s. First one told me it��s an 8 year wait. Hahahahahah hahahahahah hahahahahah hahahahahah Second one said he thinks watch is coming out for sale end of summer and I��m number 5 on the list. Not bad I guess. Third one said watch is also due out end of summer early fall and I got on that list to. I will just have to wait and see how it goes but in pictures I love the watch and the bracelet.
