Okay, let me beg this right at the start - please do not turn this into some kind of personal crusade on how good or bad Tag Heuer is. Right....I have read many posts from members who state that they started on the bumpy road to WISdom with a Tag Heuer watch. I'm one of them, and I still love my Tag Spirotechnique Diver to bits (could it be the most posted Tag in this forum....I hope not ).Tag make very good, stylish and generally dependable Swiss watches. However, the most common 'complaint' I see posted these days is how they just don't represent 'value for money' especially the quartz models and are getting too expensive for an 'average buyer' (whoever that may be).Now stop right there! Do not reply with a personal opinion on how Tag are the best value for money watches on the planet - that's not what this thread is about. What I am interested in, is what you all think may have replaced Tag Heuer as an 'entry level' Swiss watch that people are buying, now that Tag 'may' be getting bey
https://spreadsheets.google/ccc?...thkey=CJzA0uMDThis is the link for an excel file I made. You only have to enter how many seconds your watch gains or looses each day. There is a place for daily notes but they are optional. The gray areas are the only ones you can change, everything else is locked so you can't mess anything up. Read the criteria page. There is a chart for all five criteria. I did a lot of thinking on the limits for the testing. Each criteria has it's limits. These were set for the real world accuracy of an automatic as it is worn, unlike COSC which is a static test with very little disruption in the beat rate of the watch. If yours passes THIS test it will serve you well.enjoyCecil
pls help.....it is difficult decision make ...do you think it is worth to do it..?
Hey All,My fianc¨¦ bought me a Breitling SuperOcean m2000 as an engagment gift recently and it came with a leather strap. I was just wondering if anyone has ever switched straps on these watches and how difficult it is to do so. I am debating potentially getting a rubber diver strap or the bracelet for it, or both. If anyone is familiar with the watch, do you know if it would need the polished bracelet or if it can handle the brushed! Thanks for your help!
