Is there a readily accessible source to determine what quality range certain brands of watches are?Lately, I've seen some watches that are labeled:Paul BreguetteBurenClintonCertinaBaylorKentStandard TimeRobotImperialetc., etc., etc.I'm not asking anybody to do my research for me, just for a reliable source to look these brands up when I see one I like.Thanks!

Super slim watches
Despite being stuck in the middle of the Big Watch Era, I love super-slim timepieces and see them as the height of horological art. It is harder - and more expensive - to build a slim, small movement.This watch is one of my favorites: a COSC ETA 2894-2 cased by Edox. Here is it side by side with a US 25-cent piece:

Survivor ROO
Hi Guys : Thinking about getting something out of the norm for a ROO. Been thru multiple 44's want something that's different and stands out. Something that is uncommon to even someone who knows and owns AP's. The survivor comes to mind. Looking for input on the model, I know it's a love or hate it piece because of the push guards, case & bezel design but that's what's attracting me to it. Would love to hear your thoughts. Found a mint one on TRF complete set for 31K. Here are some pics for reference. Happy 4th to us Americans !

Breitling Re-editions
If the words of the new CEO are to come true, we are likely to see a few nice re-editions of some vintage watches from Breitling in the next few years. As a collector of re-editions (the more accurate the better), I'm certainly looking forward to that. Anyway, some have said that the one on the right in the first picture is the nicest re-edition of the original all-black dial Navitimer 806, and I would certainly agree. However, in my opinion, the one on the left is the closest we have of a modern interpretation of the original Chronomat, even though it is labelled as a Montbrillant. That said, I can¡¯t help but wonder how much nicer they would have looked if the bezels had been swapped.Anyway, what are you hoping for from the new and improved Breitling?
