Patek Philippe 3445 wrist watches news:
The original IWC Portofino ref. 5251, introduced in the early 80s, has achieved cult status. That 46mm x 6mm icon with its 16 3/4 lignes caliber 9521 pocket watch movement proved a prescient preview of things to come. At SIHH 2011, IWC will debut four new Portofino models.UPDATE: Look inside for pricing information and launch dates.2011 is the year of the Portofino family at IWC, and the least conspicuous way of wearing an IWC is the Portofino Automatic (Ref. 3565). This classic model now comes in a 40mm case which, thanks to a reworking of the design, makes the watch look even slimmer. Its classic shape is reminiscent of the IWC models from the 1960s, without looking ¡°retro.¡± The Portofino Automatic will be available in red gold with a silver-plated dial, and in stainless steel with a choice of silver-colored or black dials. The Portofino Chronograph (Ref. 3910) comes in at 42mm with more rounded contours and flowing lugs. Buyers have a choice of silver-plated or black dial in a stainl
I bought a Green 50th anniversary Sub in Jan 04 because I liked it, and thinking it would be a good investment due to the limited production. I had to search 5 different AD's to find one. That was then.....Today, every grey market dealer has an abuntance of them. It turns out that this watch is a 50th anniversary that is still being produced. I don't think that is a 50th annivesary edition anymore. They have made them every year since 2003. I think it is now just a green bezel watch, not an anniversary edition anymore. I bought a 50th anniversary Corvette in 2003, but you can't buy a new one today. The anniversary was 2003, not every year. I feel Rolex pulled a fast one with this watch.I am trying to trade it to buy a new GMT Master II and can't even get back what I paid for it. Annoyed,Bob
This is one I really like to wear.........Dressed up a Vintage Cartier 18K buckle and strap. Casual or dressy it works perfectly.
Did you take advantage of the 25% off sale from Scott Allison? He's one of our sponsors: timesofplenty. I have been searching for the right strap for my 1960 Seamaster for ages, and was happiest with a black leather Tiffany's strap:Scott had this NOS from the same era, and I jumped all over it:Dumb luck that I saw this, as I have a belt in nearly the same pattern and shoes with the same trim. A little darkening with some of the same polish I use on those shoes and it should be a nice match:This was one I was looking at for a change of pace a couple weeks ago. More dumb luck to catch his sale!Combine those with the Tiffany's lizard I caught on clearance a while back and I have a few decisions to make. Anybody else grab anything? He has a ton of vintage bracelets too, including a few logo Accutron, Longines, and Omega pieces.
Hi all. Does anybody know the retail price for 36mm Day-Date, white gold, fluted, president, silver stick dial or similar configuration to this? Thanks in advance! :)
