Patek Philippe 3992 wrist watches news:
First timer on here, thanks for any help!I am going to buy a field auto chrono this weekend and would like some help or clarification about something first. I have noticed the field chrono doesn't say "Swiss Made" on the face or case back. All other models I have looked at in the catalogue do have these markings. Is this something I should be concerned about? They do say swiss on the 7750 movement though which would make sense. I love this watch's looks and movement, want to drop the hammer but this swiss made thing bothers me. Any help and thoughts on this subject would be great!
I picked this watch up over the weekend from a local seller and I can't be more pleased with it! I was unlucky and missed the boat earlier this year when these originally went on sale and I've been hunting for one ever since. This is a special edition (1 of 70 produced) from Stowa with "Made in Germany" printed on the dial, the ETA 2801 movement, and black-framed hands. What really attracted me to this particular Stowa flieger was the manual wind movement, something not normally offered in regular production Stowa fliegers. I was slightly hesitant about the black-framed hands when this series was first announced because I was afraid they would appear too monochromatic against the black dial. This watch hasn't left my wrist since I picked it up on Sunday and I'm happy to say the black-on-black hands and dial have not been an issue at all!I already have a couple other watches slated for purchase when they're released 2012, but if Stowa were to begin offering a Baumuster B-dial flieger wit
A month in the making..... What can it be?
Have they raised the prices across the board and not just the 5711 and 5712? The prices of the 5726 on the internet seemed to have jumped so I was curious if everything jumped?
Hi All -Delighted to have joined the forum, I'm in the US and am planning out my first Rolex purchase - It will be for daily wear and I've fallen in love with the GMT Master II LN. I am currently in the process of sourcing one pre-owned. My watch dealer (who I trust explicitly and have purchased a number of non-Rolex watches) has a nice example with box and papers, its a G serial (2010) but the papers were stamped end-2012. It has not had a service. He is offering it at a fair price but has also told me that if I wait and another watch comes in post-2015 with the 5yr international warranty he would sell it to me for the same price. So my questions are:1. I'm assuming nothing has changed between 2010-present with this watch? 2. I'm in no rush, should I wait for a newer example to come up or just go for this one? The 5y Warranty is a consideration but more importantly if I decide to trade it because it doesn't agree with me as a daily wear watch, would I be better served value-wise with
