Patek Philippe 5134G wrist watches news:
Yesterday, I went on a Rolex tour (alone, self-sponsored, self directed:chuckle:). Tokyo really is a special place if you love Rolex watches.I found a new AD recently, and they have just about every model in the display cases; so I decided to start with that store. The store is very elegant,a virtual Rolex wonderland! I also visited some of the gray dealers I know and trust (who BTW also enjoy impeccable reputations). For a change, the stores were full of people who seemed ready to buy. I guess the recession is taking a second seat to the New Year's spirit, at least for some people.I didn't buy anything, but despite a relatively low excitement level lately for watches, I was floored by one watch I tried on. I saw it at an AD in the Ginza. It's a new 116518 with a matte blue dial. Photos literally don't do this dial justice. At some angles, it appears black or gray; at other angles, it's a deep blue.I've heard this type of dial is also available on the TT Daytona, but I haven't see
I don`t know when..but as I knew the Hydoconquest will be my next new watch bought....I now this beauty will be my next...
.ebay/itm/221650011227Hey Guys:Thought that I would try out something different for my Speedmaster 861. I found this NASA inspired velcro strap on eBay; this is a short version, so it won't fit around the sleeve of your spacesuit....Anyway, it is from a Taiwan seller but the materials and workmanship are first class. Wears well on the wrist and definitely has the cool factor!
The first being the chrono annual calendar aka 5960athe other, new nautilus 5990 with new movement ( chrono and integrated GMT )Both more or less the same price....Which one is the winner....
I've read conflicting stories on whether the 5 year factory warranty is transferable or is only valid for original owner. I don't have the original green warranty card, but was told the watch was bought new in April 2017 and has the remaining 5 year Rolex warranty. Does Rolex repair center check serial and warranty status? Any way they can verify the warranty status of my Rolex? Thanks!
