Patek Philippe 5022j wrist watches news:
I was at a two day social event this weekend. I got 3 unsolicited compliments on my ORIS TT1 Titanium Diver. Yeah, it made me feel good to get them and it confirmed again the wise decision I made in picking it.ORIS Rocks.
Calibre 8700. I will post pics when I receive it.
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and to watch collecting in general ( just caught the fever but I've got it bad.). I was hoping, probably fruitlessly, that someone might have a used Oris, preferably a newer sportier model but I'm open to any alternatives, for a reasonable price. I just started collecting in the last few months, I got interested after picking up a nice Citizen Eco Drive perpetual calendar diver with like 10 functions, which showed me the possibilities in a watch. I became obsessed after seeing the JLC Gyrotourbillon which showed me the incredible art and design that is dedicated to these tiny machines, just fantastic. I'm even looking into Watchmaking school. I realized I won't be able to afford the kind of collection I'd like in my current profession, I'm a Sous-Chef at a small restaurant in a small town in Ontario, and Watchmaking seems a good fit for my personality as well as the ideal profession for a watch lover. But back on topic, if anyone has an Oris they'd like to
I have a 14kt gold enamelled pocket watch.Very pretty daisy with the front being set with old rose cut diamonds. The back has just the enamelled flower. It appears to be hand done as the image varies from the front to the back image.Inside reads JeanRichard....french??I will attach photos.Wondering if anyone can give me an idea of value for this. How old?It is 21 out of 489217489 is serial number on inside of caseIs it a good watch of value or just a pretty junky movement watch?Pocket Watch Ladies JeanRichard flower back.JPGPocket Watch Ladies JeanRichard flower enamel.JPGPocket Watch Ladies JeanRichard hunting case.JPGPocket Watch Ladies JeanRichard movement.JPG
If you had the possibility, financial and relation wise, as Patek does it but in very rare occasions, and only for serious PP collectors who have invested quite a lot on the brand already, to have a unique Patek made out for you, either changes in an existing model or something totally new, what would you ask for?For me very simple, a 5712P obviously, and with the kind of blue dial as in the 5711P, that would be a stunning watch...
