I had this one in 2003/2004, you know the first which came out. I liked them at that time but like several other watches I sold after more or less 1 year.Now since they are discontinued I wanted another 16610LV. I'm not a fan of the new 116610LV so the hunt for an original 16610 started :-)I would have been happy with any 16610LV but if it were possible I hoped to find a flat four. Just to have the first series And that's what happened.This time I won't let it go great, isn't it ?

Alstarter Watch Co case with Hamilton Movement
I do not know much about this Hamilton. Couldn't even find a model name. I thought it might be an old bumper but apparently the movement was just loose in the case. When opening the case to take a look at the movement I realized the case was not Hamilton. I had already noticed the mark on the crown. All I find on the web was that the Alstarter Watch Co was out of New York, but this case is marked Swiss.
I do not know much about this Hamilton. Couldn't even find a model name. I thought it might be an old bumper but apparently the movement was just loose in the case. Quick two here for you fine gents. How often do you go about getting your watch wet? I took the Skyhawk into the shower today, completely forgot about it (but good thing it's 200m).My question: Even though my Skyhawk doesn't come equipped with the screw down crown, is it still safe to have it in the shower, washing hands, washing dishes?2nd one: I know having your watch in for service ever 1-2 years is a good idea. I have owned my Skyhawk where I can only think of maybe 2 times it has been completely immersed in water. Am I do for service? Or do Citizens tend to remain fairly care free due to their Eco-Drive technology?ThanksLogan

I did it again... Wasn't really interested in this piece at first due to the heft, but after seeing it on the wrist of a certain AP CEO here in HK and him taking it off for me to try again, I did the inevitable....Every time, I tell myself to stop buying, it just doesn't happen...I must say though, it's growing on me every second... The tantalum and rose gold is a great match this way. Not over blingy!

Rolex overpriced?
I got the Rolex bug and bought a Milgauss but now I'm having third thoughts.For the price of the Milgauss I can get a couple of nice Omegas to supplement my Seamaster and Speedmaster. I love my new Milgauss gv, but what's really getting me hung up is the cost. Visibility of the green dial is another issue, but it's beautiful in good light.Did you ever have buyers regret and get over it? Do some of you own Rolex and omega too?
