Patek Philippe 5024G-001 wrist watches news:
hello all,i am looking at purchasing a breitling crosswind with a white face. the question i have is some of the subdials (chronograph) are a bone color and the numbers on the chrongraph are printed in a regular font. then, there is a white subdial, which i prefer versus the bone, but those numbers seem to be slanted (italicized). and then finally i have seen the slanted number on top of a mother of pearl subdial. what i want to know, is did they make the crosswind with white subdials and a regular font not the slanted font? thankshere is a couple of links so you can see what i am talking about.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=260284957569cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320272681665any help is appreciated.
One of the beloved and respected moderators of Paneristi Bob "BBQ" Quapaw passed away today, a truly devastating and very sad news. My Condolences to his Family The Panerai community lost a very awesome and respected friend.
About 2 months ago, I found myself looking for a new watch, and sought advice on this site. Specifically, I was looking for an automatic chronograph with a pulsometer or tachymeter scale. For aesthetic and anatomical reasons, I wanted a watch that was a bit on the smaller side. Clifford Moore suggested checking out d.freemont, and soon after, I found myself sporting a new d.freemont Acugraph! Here and there on this site there are mentions of d.freemont, but these are by and large glancing references. If you will pardon a noob¡¯s enthusiasm, I thought it might be worthwhile to take a closer look. This review describes the Acugraph Classic, which has a 38mm stainless steel case. There are also currently two other versions, the Acugraph SS and the Acugraph HT (about which, more later), available. You wouldn¡¯t know that any of these versions existed from the current d.freemont website, but fortunately David (Freemont) McCready is very quick about answering email queries.Mr. McCready a
OK Guys. Wondering what you think about this decision I am about to take...I am about to purchase a Breitling at a really low price. Its a Breitling superocean heritage 38mm on a rubber strap. (Got a question about that strap too) I will be purchasing this watch as a daily wearer until the day I get my Rolex - the wife already promised she'll get me a rolex in about 3 years as a masters degree grad gift. I feel a little bit like I am purchasing this Breitling because I am filling the void until I get the rolex. And I already viewed the previous posts/thread about someone buying the rolex so please dont send me to that thread. But now that I know that I can get a great watch (breitling) at a great price and I know my wife is going to get me a rolex in a couple years. Do you think buying the breitling is a good idea? Background - I cant wear my usual daily wearer tag f1 red dial because I am in the military and a red dial is a big NO NO.Also if I am buying the rubber strap and it is size
Well, maybe not a mistake, but this sits and feels so much better than the coaxial 57 it replaced.Don't think I can add anything that hasn't already be said. This might also be the best watch box/presentation I've ever seen.
