Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 47015 wrist watches news:
May I be the first to wish you a happy birthday today Dee Gee....Have a wonderful day and many more to follow..:)
I've seen quite a few new faces, so it's time to put together a little pocket guide of tips and tricks to make your collecting experience a bit smoother for you. The first tip I can give you is run away!!! Run fast, run far, and keep running! Abandon all hope ye who enter here! Forget watches - you can use your cell phone to tell the time! Your wallet will thank you for it. Okay, if that didn't scare you off then keep reading.....but be prepared to spend 5X more on this habit/hobby than you think you want to. In for a penny, in for a pound (more like thousands of pounds ).The second tip is about buying and selling. Think you got a great deal on that Omlexing two-tone Super-duper Revenger SUX 5000 chronopetual GMT? Just wait 'til you try to sell it! You'll find that the term "flipping" should have the word "out" permanently attached to it. The best way to make a small fortune buying and selling watches is to start with a large one. The third tip is to start saving now
During the months of December and January, these have been my two project watches. I always wanted to experience a chronograph, and I wanted my son to have an automatic watch, so I assembled a ETA 7750 watch for myself and a ETA 2824 for my son's 12th birthday. Look closely and you will see his name engraved on the rotor. I did run into a glitch with the winding stem while assembling the 7750. The process I used to fix the winding stem I have chronicled at minus4plus6/7750-2824.htmThese two watches are great and they will be around for many years. -Sheldon
Life feels pretty good today.I sourced a mint Soyuz (Speedeorite). It even had the stickers still on it.Man, this is an impressive dial. I also own a WG Daytona, but the Meteorite dial available for that watch just never did it for me in person. I find it lacking in contrast. This meteorite dial is another matter altogether. My speedmasters:1969 Mark II on MeshStandard issue Moonwatch on Hirsch RubberGemini IVSoyuz.I think i am satisfied....
Ok, so after seeing some pics a few days ago of the BLNR on the rubber b strap with the blue line, decided I NEED one.Been wearing my Tudor Pelagos on rubber lately and feels good to me, so placed an order for the rubber b.Rubber B is now here. What do you guys use to change the braclets/straps? Was thinking of getting the bergeon tool, but want to make sure I get the right model. In the mean time do you think the AD would change it for me??Thanks in advance for any input..
