- This is a pretty design, but please note that the word INTEGRITY is misspelled. You can see this in the photo. Also, both my original order and the replacement had some of the black detail paint missing from the lettering.

- I don't know what all the talk was about. Honestly, I love Victoria Wieck BUT when i opened the box, I was disappointed. It did NOT SPARKLE AT ALL. It was just a black and white watch. No thanks. I sent it right back. NO PAZAZZ at all.

Piaget G0A32102 wrist watches news:
Yesterday my new CITIZEN Promaster arrives. Have a look and enjoy. Very nice tiemepiece and I think it completes my "Watchfamily" well.:)
Does anyone have a source for the caseback screws (there are 6 of them holding the caseback on) for a Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro?I noticed that one of the screws is missing from my watch. It's under warranty, but Swatch in Canada wants me to send the watch to them so they can't replace the screw for me. I'm quite capable of screwing it in myself, and would prefer to avoid any potential issues of shipping a watch out and having a careless watch tech scratch or ding it.Any input would be appreciated.Thanks,Jamesmr_pacman@shaw.ca
Has anyone out there in WTF land ever had any problem with their Seiko Spring Drive? They come with a 3 year warrantee, but it's off to Tokyo for any work. I'm also curious about the "periodic check" and "inspection and overhaul" as the owner's manual puts it. Any one had one yet? Interval suggested is "three or four years". Have they been out that long yet? Nothing to report about my Ananta GMT other than it gains 2 seconds a month...Wah!
I just returned from a short jaunt to the Edison Mall in Ft. Myers. While there, I visited Bailey Banks and Biddle to ask them about a watch I purchased a few months back that was running consistently at 7-8 seconds fast per day. My question to them was what it would take to have it regulated and how much (if it's not covered under warranty). Now, this is a $4,000 watch that is cosc certifed - so we're not talking about an inexpensive piece. The response I received was idiotic to be polite. I was told in no uncertain terms that COSC was only a "ballpark figue" and no jeweler would "stress out" over a few seconds. They would not regulate the watch and would only send it to the manufacture at my expense for a complete overhaul.Considering the rudeness of the employee and the curt manner of his response, Bailey Banks and Biddle has seen me cross their doorway for the last time. I can't believe the rude treatment and how easily they blew me off.Ok, I'm finished, I just wanted to rant
I've alway loved watches. My father had a nice watch collection and he got my brothers and I to appreciate the value of fine watches. And to this day it is a hobby that I enjoy. A lot. So it was only natural that I wanted to transmit this experience to my son, so I got him into learning and appreciating fine watchmaking. He got a Seiko diver at 11 (a $200 watch at 11 is a huge deal...), and when he turned 15 I gave him my Marathon diver, which he loves. A couple of years ago while on a cruise in the caribbean, we stopped at lots of duty free shops, to look at watches. When I asked him what would he like for his 18th birthday, he said, to my surprise, that he would like a Speedmaster. He not only liked the looks, but the history behind it, and the fact that it was not an automatic. It seemed like he had learned a thing or two... Since that day I have been trying to find a special speedmaster. Something that would show that I did something more than write a check. So I
