Richard Mille RM 010 wrist watches news:
Hello :I recently inherited this watch. I've spent a ton of time trying to find out about it without much success, since it seems like there are infinite numbers of Omega watch models and this one is very rare. So my last option is to recurr to some forums and hope someone helps me with some info. Thanks in advance to any replies. As to now I've established the following information : Omega Constellation 18K Yellow Gold Day Date with Gold Dial and leather strapEstimated price from only 3 that I've found in the whole web $1.700-2.500It seems the watch is very rare since I've found so few similar watches, and on the Omega site they currently don't sell any Constellation models with that same dial with the month and date hands. The original leather strap is missing, but seems to be relatively inexpensive to replace (like U$S 50).There is something weird with this watch though, the back/casing is steel and on all the other similar ones I found, the back is gold. On closer examination the ba
I am on a list to get a 5960 (hopefully soon) and was thinking about this watch over the weekend. My question is thishow does a 5960 fit into a collection from a "collectors" point of view? Meaning, do you see this being an important Patek to have in one's collection? I am fairly new at building a collection of Patek's, and want to buy the right pieces, but only if they are one's I'd also like to wear, and the 5960 surely fits the bill for me. As for "why" I am building a collection of Patek'sto be 100% honest, because I enjoy it. If it goes up in value, great. If not, oh well. The fun of having a great collection is enough for me, however I truly do want to build a great collection, that is ultimately appreciated by other collectors of Patek's who enjoy this brand as much as I do. So anyway, how does the 5960 fit into a modern collection of Patek's in your opinion? Thanks, Calfee
Timing regulation, new o-ring, that type of thing?I just called Zales and they couldn't give me anything other than "We send it to the watchmaker for an estimate." .
You've bumped your AP on something and are afraid to look for the next couple minutes.....Luckily this time just bumped the crystal whe
This post is not meant to flame the Patek brand. I'm just frustrated and I want to share my experience with you guys. My first Patek, 5711, developed the sticking date issue. Now my second one, 5980, is having problems. I first noticed a small bubble on the minute hand's luminova. Very minute but noticeable under a loupe. Today, I discovered that the seconds hand doesn't reset to 12; it resets at 11. Going to bring it back to the AD tomorrow Thanks for letting me rant. Have a great weekend all.
