- I've worn my 2000 daily for 15 years (wife has the ladies watch)
- Crystal is perfect despite lots of significant abuse
- Stainless steel case and band show minimal wear
- Accurate to within a few seconds a month
- Good service when needed
- Continues to look good dressed up or down
- Pins connecting bracelet to case failed at 13 years, replaced for $2
I fully expect this watch to last another 15 years, if not a lifetime. All things considered, a great value. - ----

- This bangle watch is comfortable, not heavy, easy to read and looks beautiful. I have received several compliments and am very pleased with the quality and the fact that it looks more valuable than the affordable price I paid.

Romain Jerome TO.T.BBBBB.00.BB wrist watches news:
Hello,I've been meaning to join for a while and glad I did. I've loved watches since I was a kid. I have quite a few Citizens, Seikos, and a Tag automatic. So the watch of my dreams was the Breitling Superocean Steelfish (I like the Superocean Chronograph II equally as much). So I have been saving for this watch for years. And I had enough to buy it...and then I spent it all on college tuition (I am pursuing a doctorate). I know it was the right thing to do, but it still burns. It seems there are a lot of cool watches out there and I have a lot to read here, so I figure if I ever do get my Breitling, then I can at least be sure it is the watch I really want before getting it.I have been eyeing the Citizen bl5440-58e (Signature Courageous Perpetual Calendar Chronograph)...it seems not many are out there. Anyone seen one/owned one?So anyway, just wanted to say hi!
I just can't find it anywhere. Can you? Thanks for any clue!
When I was in college, I bought a Seamaster 300 (https://.omegawatches/en-us/w...eter-25318000/) because I thought the James Bond watch was cool. I put it on a strap pretty early in its life and have since lost the bracelet.I've had it serviced (as recently as 2016), but I literally NEVER wear it. I wonder if there would even be a market for a watch like that if I tried to sell it. If it'd only fetch a few hundred bucks, I don't think it'd be worth it.Anyone have an opinion? Should I just keep it as a beater, or might it actually be worth selling?
Evening,I am currently an owner of a 5205R-010, but have decided to try and find something a little more sporty in style so that it suits my dress style a bit better and so I should get even more usage out of it.This led me to consider a number of watches, but today I viewed a 5980R on leather strap. I was extremely impressed by this watch in terms of wrist presence and the beauty of the proportions, dial and rose gold. I do love the full gold bracelet model, but it is too flashy for me to use frequently and I still have my girls' tuition fees to pay ha! As such I am certainly interested in moving forward with the 5980R on leather strap, albeit viewing a platinum Daytona tomorrow, but thought I should put it to the experts here as to some thoughts on the watch. What are thoughts of the PP chronograph, of the Rose Gold design and strap integration? Anything previous owners have gotten sick of or current owners remain in love with this reference?
Thinking about buying the wifey a Patek 24 for this Christmas. Interested to get others views on this watch...the only small reservations I have are that its a quartz (albeit my wife likes quartz more than automatics) and the fact that it looks very similar in design to a cartier tank for women (which my wife already has one)Opinions welcomed...
