The first TV commercial in the world was done by a watch company.....No not Hamilton .....it was by their rival, Bulova.....What is neat about it to me is that it was before a televised Brooklyn Dodgers baseball game in 1941. The theme was, America Runs on Bulova Time.They paid $9 for their 10 second commercial!Now for the important part: Brooklyn lost to the Phillies 6-4

Finally found "The One"
The Royal Oak has always been a grail of mine and I've always been drawn to the 15300, I love the way the 39mm fits as opposed to the bigger 15400. I started searching around last year but just couldn't find the right one, then the other day I found it and had to pull to the trigger. I couldn't be happier right now, I love the fit and feel and the finishing on AP's is amazing!

Omega Co-Axial Movements
Hi all, wondering whether someone could help me.I am aware that Omega prior to (and slightly during) the 21st century have used ETA movements but have since switched to Co-Axial movements. Are all co-axial movements in house?Are just some considered in house?Or are none whatsoever considered in house?Due to my family's history (my great grand father developed anti-magnetic technology for the British saving thousands of allied lives because their subs were previously being blown up from magnetic triggered mines) I am interested in buying an anti magnetic piece. I like the Milgauss but I already have a Rolex and would like to add an Omega to my collection. Would the movement within this watch be considered in house? .chrono24.au/omega/sea...-id4422875.htm

Sub 14060 vs 14060M
OK I have decided to replace my black bay. I can't decide between a 14060 or a 14060M with 2 line text. The M seem to be about 1k dearer. Any thoughts on if it's worth the extra money for the modified movement? I guess 1k isn't a big deal if it's guna be more collectable or hold value better. But on the other hand 1700 out of pocket after the Tudor sells vs 2700, kinda hard to swallow. Also, there are a couple places selling serviced watches for a premium vs say 600 less for a watch due for servicing(or unknown last service). Do you think it's better to get an unserviced watch and have it done myself or get one turn key. Financially kind of a wash but servicing wouldn't be done by my choice of locations.
