Baume & Mercier Baume & Mercier 48325 wrist watches news:
How is the iPhone 5 a lot like luxury watches? First, why compare the iPhone 5 to luxury watches? The iPhone has become the de facto phone of choice for people who can choose whatever phone they like. That doesn't necessarily mean they only have an iPhone, but it is uncommon to find consumers of high-end products who don't have an iPhone for daily use. No doubt Apple?achieved?this impressive market position with a slick user interface and useful product, but the design of the iPhone had a lot to do with it. Apple has succeeded where many others have not with a product that looks good to the eyes and feels good in the hands. It is also useful on a daily basis and tells people who see you with one a little bit about what your personality may be like. In a nutshell, the iPhone is a sexy tool - a concept invented by the watch industry. Let's see how Apple is following the lead of high-end watch makers when it came to designing and constructing the newest iPhone. The quality and construction
Hey all,New to the forum, and I just wanted to start by posting a pic of an old EBEL watch I've had for a while, but never got any sort of estimate on its value. Overall condition I'd say is 7-7.5/10, and it works like a charm. Any input on what it might be worth is greatly appreciated. Oh, and the band is all solid gold. Thanks!
Hi everyone. I'm looking to get my dad a watch, for under $1000. Which models would you recommend I look at? Also, can you briefly describe the pros and cons of your recommendations? It would be good if you can use layman terms, cause I'm a total watch newbie . Lastly, should I buy online, or from a store? It seems websites like watchzone are about 30-50% cheaper than stores, but is there anything I should watch out for? TIA.
After purchasing several vintage watches, I'm coming to the conclusion that only those with round cases are big enough to look good on my wrist. Problem is, I've only bought two round (both Wittnauer) and maybe 6 or 7 that are tonneau, rectangular, or other shapes. So, this weekend, I'm going to ask for some assistance from the Watch talk community. I'll be taking some good photos (have to break out the Canon digital SLR and set up some decent lighting) of my vintage watches, and asking WTF members to help me decide which to keep, and which to flip. I'm pretty sure I'll keep both the Wittnauers, and possibly 1 or 2 of the others, and sell the rest to fund an as-yet-undecided purchase.Well, that's kind of a rambling, pointless post about something I'm going to do in a few days!
Hello is it possible to remove the bezel ring from a Omega chrono diver by my self or do I have to bring it to a watchrepair guy.//Fred
