Seiko SRP335 wrist watches news:
Richard Mille, which has had success with other limited-edition watches made exclusively for the Americas ¡ª including models in its RM 011, RM 016 and RM 028 lines ¡ª has unveiled another, called the RM 030 Americas. The watch follows up the previous Americas-only RM 030 Black Out and Black Rose limited editions. The watch, of which only 30 pieces will be made, and on sale exclusively in Richard Mille boutiques and authorized retailers in North and South America, is distinguished by its bright orange upper flange, crown protector and hands, which contrast with the black nanotube carbon case. On the dial, the numerals and date aperture are white. The RM 030¡¯s automatic movement is Richard Mille¡¯s Caliber RMAR1, introduced in the original, unlimited RM 030 model in 2011, whose signature feature is an innovative ¡°declutchable¡± rotor. In this system, the winding barrel automatically disconnects from the rotor¡¯s winding mechanism at the moment that the mainspring is fully wound. The declutchin
In the world of watches, whether “luxury” or “affordable” there are a handful of names that come up again and again in each category (and across categories at times). Every now and then an unfamiliar name will surface and provide a new option for watch enthusiasts. Xezo however, is not a new name: they have been producing “sensibly priced, high-quality, handcrafted luxury items in limited quantities designed with exquisite beauty to express the creative side of your personality” since 2001. Since 2002 Xezo (pronounced Zee-zo) has been producing watches with some similar and appreciated traits: limited runs (usually 500 per piece), Swiss movements and reasonable prices.I came across the subject of this piece, the Xezo Air Commando, when looking for a new, affordable sports watch. I needed something that I could wear in the pool and a crystal that would stand up to my klutziness; I was after a Swiss movement and a rotating diver-style bezel and a price

As you may recall I bought a Parnis Pilot last month. The Parnis Pilot is an IWC Big Pilot homage, and I'd wanted to see how I liked the size & feel of the Big Pilot. I mainly wanted the strap & deployant as I was looking for one for another watch & couldn't find one. So the watch itself was a secondary issue.Well, after 2 weeks here's a quick synopsis & some thoughts of the watch. As I mentioned in my original post the exterior quality is pretty good. It certainly looks & feels more expensive than the $90 it cost. The steel case is nicely finished - both the polished & brushed areas. The dial is crisp-looking, even with the 2 sub-dials.Strap is good (not great) and the deployant is very good. Holds the watch very securely. But the interior is a completely different story. When I got the watch I noticed when you set it & pushed in the crown it wouldn't start back up. So you had to pull out the crown & push back in 8-10 times to get it to start. S
I want a 5146G....looks like a preloved one will run about 30K - 35K. I have about 10-15k of watches to be traded in...My question is what are the pros and cons of buying now vs waiting a few years to acquire one as far as pricing and availability. If i did acquire now it would likely be a safe queen for a few years before i established myself in my career enough to feel comfortable wearing it on a semiregular basis. (Whether or not this makes sense is a conversation for another thread). Is this a model that may become tough to aquire in the future or appreciate in value to the point where it would make more sense to buy it now? (Im NOT asking if its a good investment).thanks
