Seiko SSB011 wrist watches news:
I am considering purchasing this watch. Inspecting the movement, I see that it says 17 jewels. However, I am not sure whether Patek ever made 17 jewel movements. Does anyone know. If so, can any comment on whether this watch movement is authentic. I am always suspicious of Pateks sold online and like to consult experts and do my own homeowork before making a purchase. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.Sincerely,Pauli.ebayimg/images/g/BsEAAO...7c/s-l1600.jpg
Hi this is my first post on this web..I'm in a bit of a dilemma and need help from u expert out here. I've recently got a budget available and I was so certain that my mind was made on a 5980 white dial at a unbelievably low price. This was until I stop by an ap store and saw a Schumacher ti. I know both are very different type of watch but I did fell in love with both of them in a different way. My judgement in the end would however come down to which of these model will retain price better. In my own experience Patek tend to hold its value very well but I have no knowledge on the le piece for audemar. Any opinion or advise would be greatly appreciated thank u
... the devil is in the details.I would like to share some (poorly taken!) macros of one of my favorite watches on this relaxing Sunday afternoon. Seen close-up I realize that there are many hidden details in this magnificent watch. I think this is something that keeps many collectors coming back to this brand: great depth in line-up, rich history and the actual watch(es) worn on your wrist have a lot more than you may have initially expected!Enjoy the weekend guys.
Hi All,My first post in this forum. I have been looking around for the next piece in my collection and have decided to go for my first Patek. I have decided on the AC 5146g and wanted to get everyone's advice on color, movement and deployant buckle. Firstly, my current collection includes a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony in white gold (ref. 81180/000G-9117), Rolex GMT Master II (ref. 16710), '68 Omega Speedmaster Professional (pre-moon transitional), Panerai PAM 328 (Luminor Marina 1950 3-day automatic). I will most likely sell the PAM as I have recently bought the Speedy and want to give it and the GMT II a little more wrist time. I also find that the PAM is really just too big and heavy on my wrist. So, I have a few questions regarding the 5146g. Firstly, color. I definitely want white gold but am trying to decide between the ivory and the slate grey. I have seen a lot of pictures online and have seen both watches in person. The wife likes the grey but in the dealer's shop, I
