Khaki Field Automatic Chronograph is here
As I mentioned in another thread my Khaki Field Automatic Chronograph arrived today. The color of the dial is amazing. I am so glad I got the brown instead of the black. This is also my first and only NATO style strap so I think I am going to leave it on the watch for a while. I noticed that the instruction manual was fairly thick. I thought this meant it was fully comprehensive. I soon found out that it was only six pages repeated in a couple dozen languages. Even still, I now know what a telemeter measures. If the storms in the northeast get any worse I might try it out. The Hammie goodness did not end with the watch today. Now that I got the bug, I went on to Abebooks and located a copy of Rene Rondeaus out-of-print Hamilton Collectors Guide (not the Electric Watch book). After I got home I received a phone call from the book dealer, all the way from Juneau, Alaska, letting me know that the book shipped out today. Could today get any Hammier?

Aquanaut Face Options
Hey there,I'm new here so forgive me if this a silly question but I have done a bit a research and found no real answer either way.I love the shape of the Aquanaut 5167 but I can not stand the look of (non-date) numbers on a watch face. Are there any, official or otherwise, options out there for this watch without a numbered face? In my dream scenario I would be able to have a ss aquanaut with a nautilus face. I know many will just recommend a nautilus- I am not a big fan of the double eared look.Thanks for any help.

Good day TRF members, I thought I would first introduce myself informally as i have been lingering as spectator for years and then joined the forum not too long ago. I wanted to document my thought process and decision on why I choose to pull the trigger on a Panerai. I purchased it over a year ago and In my quest I always found posts helpful when people were doing a long term review and thought I would share my findings.I know the title of my thread is a personal questions however there might be other out there who are facing similar questions. Even though this is a sub category in a Rolex forum, I personally prefer this network and the people much more than the Paneristi and watchuseek forums. shhh don't tell them that I've own the watch for a while and have had various other watches, Rolex Date-just, Tag Heuer, Tourneau, and some beaters.
