Ebel 9157112 wrist watches news:
Here is a question I receive at a frequency of more than three times per week, in person: "How much should I pay for a 5513 Sub?"To answer that question with less than six caveats does the inquirer, and the world of vintage watches, a disservice. For a late 5513 with white gold surrounds, the answer would be one thing. For an early matte dial, another. For a gilt, yet another. For an underline, another. For a military-issued 5513, still another. For an Explorer-dialed piece, yet another. Oh, and any of the above could range from x to x times three for an NOS example with box and papers. You see, the thing with vintage watches is, there is no "market price" for an entire category of watches – and that is the first thing I want new vintage watch lovers to understand. And that is why I am here to tell you about something that happened on November 8th, 2015 in Geneva – to show you just how wild this market is, so that you don't try to make general assump
TAG Heuer showed it had no intention of forgetting its racing heritage when they launched an online competition to pick out the next Autavia. And on the first day of Baselworld, they confirmed we would be seeing a lot more vintage-inspired chronographs, with a re-edition of the famous Monza. 1 OF 3 Launched in 1976, the watch was Jack Heuer's gift to Ferrari's Formula One team to celebrate their (then) partner's surprising title-winning season. A win which Heuer felt deserved an exceptional design ¨C and in the '70s a PVD-coated watch certainly hit the nail on the head. 2 OF 3 The latest version of the Monza re-introduces key features from the original, such as the pulsometer and the tachymeter scale, the original font on the dial, and Heuer's pre-TAG logo. However, the new Monza is best described as a combination of the original Monza chronograph ¨C returning to its iconic black and red color scheme and adding vintage orange SuperLuminova ¨C and the 2000
I was reading Outside magazine yesterday and came across an article on Bozeman watches. I just googled and found their website.bozemanwatch/collectionWhat do you guys think about high end limited production watches made in the good ole' U S of A? I do like the "Smoke Jumper."Do you think Bozeman will actually make it?
I'm about to trade my Rolex and Panerai plus cash for an AP ROO panda. What I'm asking is, is this watch as amazing as I think it is. Will I miss my two watches? I know some of you might say, keep the watches and save for the AP. In reality I work somewhere I can't wear either watch, so I have two days a week I can wear something else. That's why I think downsizing is a good idea as well. Getting cold feet looking for some insight.
The title says it all...
