- This was just lovely however too heavy for me and/or my mother so returned it. The workmanship so fine, necklace with itvery nice. I would recommend for someone who can wear heavier pieces. I did have to return it sad to say.

Jaeger LeCoultre Q2518110 wrist watches news:
We had our 19 month old grand daughter over last nite. I was sitting by the computer and she walked over to look at my shiny new Speedy Pro. She was fascinated and put her finger out to touch it, so I thought..."why not?" She placed her little index finger in the center of the dial, and smiled and pulled the tiny sharp fingernail downwardputting the FIRST scratch on the dial! I couldn't believe it! Looked and it, and sure enough....a large SCRATCH.Tried to polish it off with cloth but no luck. Now I'm undecided whether to keep the scratch in honor of her, or go out and get some Polywatch. I did not realize that the hesalite crystal could be scratched THAT easy!
Guys, I must admit, after purchasing my 1st - GMTIIc, now I'm hooked. I'm thinking of trading in my old stock (IWC Pilot Chrono and Tag 4000 Auto) for another one. I still have my eye on the old SD or possibly the staple - Sub SS date. First, do you think its a good idea to trade-in my IWC? Will it hold the same value over time vs. a Rolex?Don't get me wrong, it's a great watch and its aesthetically pleasing...Need your guidance.
Dear All,I have just bought my new IW379901 ( double chrono in ceramic ) since last Saturday. The watch was bought new from an AD in Greece,.The bahavior of the watch is quite strange. During the first 12 hours gained 2 secs, during the next 12 gained 4 more, and the last 3 hours it gained 1 more. It seems as not having isochronism, or this can be be caused by over winding ???.This is the second IWC I have got. the previous one IW378901 has a stable behavior of about 1.5 secs less per day. Since day one up to now ( more than 3 months ).Any suggestions ??? or similar experiences????.IWC watches are supposed to be exceptional timepieces in both accuracy and construction, thus such a behavior is at least unacceptable in my opinion.I have left the watch down now, to loss the power completely and i will try the measurements again.Best Regards.
Then try Muttley's fiendish watch I.D. parade.....Here are 10 visual clues to watch brands (not specific watches). Some are easy.some I hope you'll have to put your thinking caps on.Some I think you'll have to put your reading specs on (sorry 'bout that). So, cast your eyes over this little collection and post your answers. If you like this one, I'll post another 10 in a couple of days.......Ready....? Hi,This is not so much a 'what do you prefer' thread - but more a question of how much more fragile the gold versions of the nautilus are.We all know the SS nautilus bezel is a scratch magnet - so I would imagine the similar gold bezel is even more prone to scratches...?Current or previous owners of both metals - can you share your experiences? Is/was the gold nautilus a special occasion watch - with the SS a daily driver? Or the gold version for work, change to SS for more casual? Did anyone 'downgrade' from gold to SS nautilus out of fear of scratches or other reasons? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
