Seiko SGEF72 wrist watches news:
I own this Omega Seamaster Professional (Quartz) model 2542.80 and I'm considering selling it, but my knowledge of the second hand watch market is next to nothing. The watch shows some wear but works perfect and hasn't ever let me down. Recently had the battery replaced. Its from 1998 if I remember correctly. I only have the watch, none of the boxes, cards and such. Is it probably a bad idea to post serial numbers? Thanks for any help guys, this is a really cool forum. Here a link to some additional info: click hereMy pics are garbage * Not even a comment guys? Or "Welcome to the forum"? It looks a lot better in person....these really don't do it justice.
I see a lot of vintage Seiko watches about, but not many older Citizens. So, anyone got a vintage Citizen to show? Here's one I have incoming. NOS Parashock with its original mesh strap . I really like the look of this watch. I think it's got a cool '70s vibe going on, without being gaudy.
I'm going on a trip in about a week, and I want a new brown strap for my watch to match my shoes and belt. I plan on buying a higher quality strap in the future, but for now I'm going to pick something up cheap at my local watch dealer. What color and texture should I get to complement this watch? Dark brown? Medium brown? Alligator? Regular leather? Here's my watch:Thanks.
My first AP and I must admit it is a stunning watch, the dial, the bracelet and it wears sooooo comfortably. One happy AP customer here. Hope to post more pictures in different settings.
well, I have tried to get the bracelet off my SMP 300 for the last 2 hours... can't seem to get it off..from this video Omega Speedmaster Professional Moon Watch - Strap change (nato): Silent - YouTubeit seems the bracelet just pop off once one side of the spring is pushed...without much effort..whereas for mine, even though i pushed on side of the spring bar all the way in, it didn't come on.. it's kinda stuck on the lugs...i tried to wiggle it off.. but couldn'tplease take a look at the pic, hopefully it explains what should i do? Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance !
