Seiko SKA637 wrist watches news:
This holiday season, Hublot suggests the Big Bang Gold. The 5N red gold case measures 44.5mm in diameter and features a bezel wearing a vertical satin finish with 6 titanium H-shaped countersunk, polished screws. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers a matte black dial with red gold indexes that match the color of the case. The crown and push-pieces are similarly 5N red gold, with rubber inserts. The sapphire crystal display back reveals a Hublot caliber HUB 4100 mechanical automatic winding chronograph movement consisting of 252 components including 27 jewels. The bridges are micro-blasted, beveled and polished. The rotor is tungsten carbide with a black PVD-treated dimpled surface. The power reserve is 42 hours. The strap is lined natural black rubber, and the clasp is a 5N red gold with black PVD deployant. You may click the image to view a larger version.

The only time I ever bought a watch because of the strap!
(Hooray for one bad banner, anyone want to make a better one?)Welcome to the Junkbox Watches Megathread! I hope that you'll find this interesting, and contribute a little bit as well!First off, let me explain why I made this thread. I know that every so often you'll get a neat little watch, some little thing you found at a yardsale, church rummage sale, or even on Ebay or charity stores (Salvation Army, Goodwill, Savers). And while all these little finds can't have individual threads, I thought it would be a good idea to make one big one where everyone can post a picture or two and see each other's finds. So, what is a 'Junkbox Watch'?I'm terming this phrase myself, and my definition if 'junkbox watch' would be any watch found outside of a store or personal seller who is selling that watch in particular, or any watch that you've discovered in a long-lost box somewhere. Most of the time Junkbox watches are usually found being sold by inexperienced sellers, or being sold way undervalue.
Recently acquired the 45th anniversary moonwatch It originally comes with NATO strap. (pic 1) Although it looks great, I wanted to try some different looks with this beautiful watch. So I got an Omega alligator leather strap with deployant buckle in dark brown. (pic 2 & 3) This really dressed up the watch, in a good way.I also knew that the titanium bracelet will fit this watch as well... so I got one. Had to try it. The watch, IMO, looked amazing with it. (pic 4)which one do u like ? and why ?excuse the poor quality of the pics. taken in haste with my iphone
