Advice on selling my Skyland Avenger Chrono
Hi all,Long time lurker. Looking at doing a remodel project and we don't want to borrow $$ so I'm looking at selling a few toys. I have a two year old Skyland Avenger black faced chrono with the pro bracelet. Bought from certified local dealer and have all the boxes, paper work, etc. I also had a cleaning done by Breitling last year. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get top dollar on it. (near perfect condition) I've seen a couple on Ebay go recently for $2,800 - $3,300 which is right where I'd like to be on it. I've just never sold anything on Ebay before and am a little leery selling something this spendy. How would you go about it? Consign through a dealer or just do the Ebay thing but only accept a certain type of payment? I'll probably post in the classifieds as well but I wanted to get a feel for what I'm doing first. Thanks!

Seiko Kinetic is my weakness...new Diver SKA511
Don't get me wrong, I'll buy automatic watches day in and day out but my second choice seems to be the Seiko kinetic movement. I like the way they have combined the mechanical charging system with the quartz movement.This most recent acquisition is the Seiko Sportura Kinetic 200 Meter Diver Model SKA511.Polished stainless steel 43 mm case with brushed accent areas.14mm thick with sapphire crystal and screw in solid case back.Stainless steel bracelet with fold over safety clasp and diver's extension.Screw down crown and power reserve button.Black dial with red minute hand with lume, white hour hand with lume, white second hand with the traditional lume dot at the short end, lume filled markers at all hour positions, a lume pip on the bezel at the 0/60 top position, and a date display between 4 and 5.It wears very well.Thanks for looking.

Hello everyone,I have been reading this forum for a while now, interested more in technical details than anything else, but this is my first post.I have been a watch enthusiast for many years, since I was a kid really, my first watch was a Casio F-91W, and also had Swatch, Seiko, Tissot, Hamilton, Alpina, Orient Star and Nomos along the years.I also would like to mention that I am not a watch collector, and recently decided to sell all my watches and become 'a 1 watch guy'. This watch I would like to be a Rolex, that can also be a family heirloom and pass is down to my son who is 3 years old at the moment. I am attracted to this brand because of its history, quality and reliability.This is where I would like to ask for your advice, I have narrowed it down to 2 models: the Explorer I and the Submariner 'no date'.Which of these two models would be longer lasting with normal wear?
