Versace P7QM6D001-S497 wrist watches news:
My family ,by now, knows better than to buy me a watch for Xmas .They already think I'm loopy for spending as much as I have on a single watch.(i.e. Planet Ocean, Sinn U1 etc.etc.)Yet they want to buy me a watch and I am always telling them to leave the watches to me since I spend most of my $$ on them I would rather get something that I need!!This year I was surprised early by a watch that they got for 2 reasons.1) It was about the price that they felt a watch should cost..and2)I made the mistake of leaving the computer on the SNBC site one night(yes,I do browse that site from time to time) and this is what I looked at last.So this evening I was presented with this-and I must say that they did a wonderful job.Not a lot of $$ but a great watch that I will wear often. (even at non family functions)195 grams after sizing and a nice subtle CF dial.It sort of has that Ocean Ghost look but IMHO the bracelet is better and the overall look is more to my liking. And you can't beat the SWI 5 y
Good day Watch Talk Forum membersMay I ask if you could give me your thoughts on the following:I have a Must de Cartier watch that I had purchased when I was a Bank Manager over a decade ago. The watch suited my job and was my prized time piece as it is a really well made piece. I have since changed jobs and I don't wear it anymore, it sits in my cupboard and every few years take it to the Cartier shop to have the battery replaced. I want to sell the watch and have contacted a shop where the shop owner is offering me approximately 260USD (equivalent). I feel it's a bit low, I have checked the internet but can't find a site that would give me a fair price indication of these pieces. Would any members be able to give me their opinion of a fair approximate sale price?
I am getting the itch again. This time it's either the 5296 or 5227. Any pics of current owners would be great. I like the simplicity and the dial pop of the 5296 more so than the 5227 but would 39mm be more advantageous over a 38mm ? There's a large price differential but I'm not focused on that right now. I need to make a final decision this weekend for Monday purchase. Let's hear it.
Tomorrow my g/f will drop by a Rolex service Centre to buy an extra link for her Explorer 214270 mk1. But since the watch warranty is already expire, will Rolex sell the link w/o movement service on the watch ? And if the watch is being serviced by Rolex, how many years of service warranty do they provided ?
For those that ended up brushing the PCLs on the BLNR, where did you get it done? Will an AD do it, or would you need to find a trustworthy local jeweler? Thanks for any help y'all can provide.
