Patek Philippe 3601/1 wrist watches news:
In the 1970s there were special chronographs called "Soccer Timers" with markings on the registers for counting the 45 minute halves of a match. Hublot has taken things much further here with the Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Chrono, building a mechanism from the ground up that is optimized for this function. The two retrograde hands clock the seconds and minutes on a specially designed scale and a window at the center of the dial shows which half is being timed. The main timekeeping is separated in a smaller dial at 6 o'clock, so you can wear the watch off the pitch.??The foundation of the?Big Bang Unico Bi-Retrograde Chrono is the new in-house movement. The caliber HUB1260 was built using the same dual-coupling column-wheel technology as the UNICO caliber, but with the marked difference of having two center-mounted retrograde hands for the chronograph mechanism. This 385-part movement is the first bi-retrograde caliber from Hublot and is patent-pending. 2 OF 3 You're pro

I have been in love with this watch ever since i purchased it eight months ago. Like many of us our collections are diverse and vast. I broke this one out a couple of weeks ago and it has not left my wrist. I have always like Hamilton watches, was sad when they were bought out, but immediately was enthuastic when I glimpsed out their new collection. To be honest the Khaki frogman was love at first sight, and I knew onehad to be in my collection. Normally, I do not purchase titanium watchesbecause i like the weight of stainless steel, and was very skeptical.First Impressions: OMG the watch is of exceptional build and is heavy. Amonster on the wrist that demands attention. Dial a little bit busy but hasgraduated from a mere appetizer to a five star delicacy. Postive:
I couldn¡¯t resist and had to go back and try on the RO again. I am in love with this watch. While I was there I tried on a Panda to see how the larger size would look. It definitely sits very high on the wrist but the size didnt really bother me. I kinda liked the larger size for the sport watch. Its probably my second favorite AP over the RO. I need to stop looking at the RO because its driving me crazy.
Hi everyone,I know it's another Selling for a Patek thread, but just wanted to get some thoughts...I currently have a small collection of 4 watches (which I've managed to bring down from a previously higher number of 8)...2 of these are Rolexes and one is an AP RO. I am seriously considering selling two watches, namely a Rolex and the AP RO for a Nautilus 5711, but then that would cut down the collection to three. I would like to know if there are any forum members who have experienced cutting down in order to accommodate a Patek. I am quite decided for now and am actually thinking that maybe a smaller collection would put me at peace but then again that might just be me wanting to convince myself to get the Nautilus!!!Any thoughts would be appreciated....thanks
