I've heard phrases such as this over the years in the context of watch brands showing me their new single pusher (monopusher) chronograph watches, and I've never felt comfortable hearing how we should be impressed by one- versus two-pusher chronographs. Why is it, exactly, that brands feel the need to lie to us about how monopusher chronograph performance compares to the more modern two-pusher chronograph complication?I don't really know the answer to that question. Perhaps some of the people who are telling me this information don't themselves understand that monopusher chronographs are an earlier, more primative form of chronograph compared to a two-pusher chronograph system. I picked up this Benrus about a year and a half ago. It was one of the first vintage watches I bought. Never did find out the model name/number. But finally got around to getting it restored.Benrus engraved bezel before:Benrus engraved bezel after:Restoration included a COA of the movement, case polish, new crystal, and re-enameling of the engraved bezel. Can anyone explain the warning I've heard about not setting the date of a watch when it's about to change dates itself? Can this damage the watch? How does the rule go?

Hello, I have the opportunity to buy (what I think is) an Omega Speedmaster Mark V.It is a 43 million serial full set in what looks to be great overall condition (owners manual, hang tag, box, warranty card, receipt, extra links, etc).Are these sought-after? I searched the for sale section for comps but am not sure if I'm searching right. I searched omega Speedmaster mark v and couldn't find another one for sale. Is there a nickname or keyword I should be using?Can anyone look this over, let me know your thoughts as to condition and authenticity, and give me an idea of the demand for these?
