Bell & Ross recently presented its new WW1 collection at the historic H?tel National des Invalides whose famed Eglise du Dome houses Emperor Napoleon I¡¯s tomb. This new collection, which includes a pocket watch (the PW1) as well as the WW1 wristwatch, traces the evolution of timepieces from the pocket to the wrist. Guests had the opportunity to visit the famous Mus¨¦e de l¡¯Arm¨¦e and then gathered in a sumptuous ballroom to enjoy exquisite French cuisine and vintage Champagne. After admiring the watches, the guests could stroll along the walkways overlooking the square courtyard of the Invalides to soak up the historic atmosphere. The nearly 300 guests included media personalities, French military officers, political figures and watch aficionados.

Hey everyone,I am new to watch collecting, but have a background in some other collectibles that fit well with watches, mostly coins and other antiques, some bourbon, and I like to collect ¡®houses¡¯. I have also decided that I am ready to purchase my first Rolex in 2018. This is something I have wanted all of my life, and I am having some trouble figuring out a few things moving forward. I know for example that I want a Two-Tone Yellow Gold 41mm Datejust Black Diamond Dial Fluted Bezel on a Jubilee Bracelet with a Crown ClaspMy problem seems to be finding this exact setup with the crown stealth Clasp. I decidedly do NOT want or like the look of the oyster Clasp on this configuration, but I don¡¯t see the option available anywhere. What are my options for something like this? Rolex Submariner 14060 ¡°P¡± Serial PRICE CHECK
I already own a 16610 Sub Date and looking to add a no date Submariner. I came across a Submariner 14060 “P” serial two liner. It’s for the head only. No matter, because I wanted to use Everest straps anyways. History is unknown. Service is unknown. No box or paperwork. I’d say the case is a 6-7 shape and insert has a few marks. Asking is 3,800, but I think that’s way too high. Am I wrong? Gut says walk away unless the price is in the 2K range.
