Eterna KonTiki Date 2009 Watch
While there have been a few new releases from Eterna this year, the company has been relatively quiet. I did happen to notice this fine new release based on their re-issue of the classic KonTiki model. There have actually been a great deal of KonTiki watches over the years, but the versions with the four triangles are the purest in form. The recently re-released the KonTiki had a centralized date dial with an indicator hand, this new model has an internal date disc with a covertly placed date window between 4 and 5 o¡¯clock. I must admit that it does improve the look of the watch ¡ª as the date window is functional, but not obtrusive. It further allows for greater appreciation of the dial and basic theme of the watch. The watch was designed as a sport watch back in the 1950s (I believe). Funny how what was informal then, almost looks formal now. Though the black and orange faced version is still quite sporty looking and certainly has the best personality of the two in my opinion. Really

Incoming Day-Date
This is a watch I have looked at for a while.Lots of positives but for me I wondered if it was too ostentatious, does it suit me, am I too young for it.....in the end I was not sure but I pulled the trigger anyway and man am I glad that I did.It arrived yesterday, it is beautifully finished, fits like a dream and all my concerns were imaginary.In short I love it....yes it¡¯s bold but so whatAnyone thinking about one should go for it (especially if DavidSW hooks you up)PS it has already been to the gym with me!

Hong Kong is "Rolex Paradise"
I have been to a lot a places on the face of this earth.But Hong Kong takes top spot for ROLEX, there are so many AD's, sometimes two across the road from each other so you don't have to cross the street!(Not to mention the Casinos in Macau each casino has multiple AD's)I have been in heaven for 10 days, every 8th - 9th person wears ROLEX!It's a luxury to them and they want it, because they can't afford to own housing or cars!AD's have no S/S stock, only grey markets flourish!Following Pix are from one dealer, one of many shops, offering what you wish!!Prices are high, and AD's are offering generous payment plans, on credit!NO REPLICA'S AROUND HERE!
