I have two of these SRP043 Seiko divers watches and I really like them. However since I have two of them I tried to make one a little different from the other. Some time ago I installed some Mercedes hands on one and I kind of liked the looks, but in the end I was put off by the fact that the hands were a little too small/short in proportion to the watch. Not much really but enough to bother me. So I decided to handle that, I could not find any larger/longer Mercedes hands but I then settled for a different solution. The best look is the original one, and so I decided to try some similar but different hands. I got some original Seiko hour and minute hands from the "Fifty Five Fathoms" model and a seconds hand from a Seiko Alpinist.The hands are similar in shape but they are chromed so they give a little different feel to the watch, the red seconds hand also contribute to that but since these are small changes, they only give a little different look keeping the original overall p

Rose gold watches
Hello!I saw this stainless steel Burberry watch with rose gold dial and loved the combination. The things I did not like about it were it being a quartz and dial shape (I prefer round). Everything else is just beautiful. So, are there any watches out there you can think of which match my criteria and taste? Just post them here please (you don't have to own them). Thanx :)

For The Same Money: Daytona, AP ROC, or VC?
I'm developing a goal watch (already landed the grail watch).For the same money, would you rather have a Rolex 116520 Daytona with a 4130 Rolex movement, or an Audemars Piguet 25860 Royal Oak chronograph (39mm) with a Frederic Piguet caliber 1185?For the record, I have owned the Rolex, and it remains one of my top three favorite personally owned watches. Clearly I'm a chronograph nut. I did own an AP Moonphase but the dial wasn't my style. I did love the Royal Oak Genta-ness of the bracelet and case, so odds are I would love the AP ROC too.Between the Daytona and ROC, which one and why? And who would throw in a VC Overseas chrono for a few bucks more and get that one instead? (Unsure if I like the VC or just appreciate that freakin' awesome bracelet integrating part of the Maltese cross logo).Apologies to anyone who is put off by these this-or-that posts. Need some help.
A friend of min asked her to help her put a value on these two watches so that she can sell them. She's told me that she has the box and paperwork for both but I have yet to see anything in person. I would appreciate if anyone can help me identify and give me an idea on value. Thanks guys!
