My new GMTIIC is my second GMT (sold my 116713 a month bag).I just noticed a little play in the end-links when I press the bracelet against the caseback and backwards.Anyone else noticed this little ¡°Rolex play¡± ;-)
Lately I've found myself unable to take off my Aquanaut. No matter if I'm washing the car on the weekend, running errands around town.....or the daily grind in a suit & tie - the Aquanaut is a perfect choice!Anyway, I just snapped this photo today prior to a client meeting. Although many purists feel that a watch on a rubber strap has no place along side more formal wear. I, however, think it goes perfectly! Just thought I share the photo.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412208673.214939.jpg
So I thought I'd see what 'blunders' have been made by parting ways with a watch you may have had. For me when I got into this game was 2008. Shortly after having known nothing about Rolex apart from what I read he on TRF for months I picked up a Y series 11610LV full kit from a local grey dealer. $7700 CAD I think I paid and I felt too high but I wanted it. It was the most money I ever spent on a timepiece. I did wear it for some time but at the time it felt a bit lost on my bigger wrist. Soon after the big watch trend came about and I wanted something bigger...so I traded it for a DJII No telling what I would have done with it had I not traded it so I guess it could be worse.Anyone want to share a similar experience?
My blue DJ2 with fluted bezel for a rhodium DJ41 with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.
