- I purchased this for my boyfriend for Christmas and I think he will be pleased. As others have said, the photos online do not do the watch justice. It is a beautiful piece. I would highly recommend it to others.

I WISH, I had written this, but I did not (credits at end)But NO truer words have been written about watch industry.First think of an old European Royal Court, like Great BritainPatek Philippe is the King - stately, regal and reserved. The King does not approve of fancy gimmicks or quick moves; he is solid, dependable - The top of the line.Vacheron Constantin is the Queen - flash, sexy, and sometimes even startling. Audermars Piquet is the artist prince - bold, interesting, often more daring than others, ALWAYS intriguing and often superb!Jaeger Le-Coultre is surely the Prime Minister - shrewd, old and reliable. Often behind the scenes, for years Jaeger Le-Coultre has been helping other companies survive thanks to its manufacturing know how.Jaeger Le-Coultre does NOT have the largest fanciest line, but 'what it does it does well and wisely.'Then there is Rolex, the Knight - the strongest, most sturdy, and most trustworthy; Rolex will go into vigorous battle and come out none the wors
Hello folks, Been a while since I last posted. After I got my latest beautyI have been quite expectantly VERY protective of her. Careful wearing, away from any possible harm usually tucked under my cuff. This is why, I went on holidays watch-nude, bear wrists, no watch. This proved to be far more difficult than I initially thought, as I like to know what time it is. So, here I am - looking for your insight into (what may seem like) a simple question: What should I buy for sand, salt water and abuse?I will start with some basic requirements that come to mind: Budget = $350-ish, pre-owned is welcomeSize = 41-44mm diameterThickness = no more than 13mm or VERY close to that. I hate towering rocks. Don't care if it is digital, mechanical, quartz, manual, automatic - as long as it can do the jobWish to have = hours, minutes, seconds, date - anything above this would be optionalLume / Electric lume - yes, pleaseShould be nice and easy to read but nothing that would break my heart losing/havin
I been watching the FN for awhile. Have you check out some of the watches they wear. Chef Guy Freil he sports the Orange Doxa alot and Rolex. I'm I the lone one who watches the FN. Any body else notices other watches?
Scatola del Tempo OEMed watchwinders for Patek. But nowadays Patek is using a Chinese company for this matter.Any comments about this from Patek owners here online?
It's true. I have had 2 372s and the most recent one I put a gash in it so deep Poly Watch just wont completely fix it. I have no idea how I did it either. My first 372 a few years ago I brushed up against a concrete wall and scraped the bejesus out of it. Poly Watch did fix that one but I turned around and sold it. I think the 372 is the perfect watch...............except for the plexi. I love the way it looks and I don't mind the swirls but gashes are unacceptable for me and my active life. So what am I to do? Well buy a 422 of course. Not entirely the same but it oozes awesomeness non the less. I should have it Tuesday and Ill post pictures when it comes in.
