i received this last week, good piece , elegant and classy. I was expecting the whie ceramic to stand out a little more, but the band is of alternate steel and ceramic links so cannot be called a white ceramic piece- still looks good for the price- dial embezel is stunning. may not be able to use on daily basis as it too heavy on the wrist.

Pricing and Discounts
I have a few questions about what you guys all think about the standard discount on various watches should be. I know that 30% or so for Omega and the like pretty standard, and that it is much less for say a Rolex. But what about other brands like Panerai, IWC, JLC, and other high end pieces. Is 30% pretty standard for anything at Omega caliber and below: say a Hamilton? Should I expect discounts from vintage retailers since they don't have msrp? What about with limited edition watches: should they be discounted? I have been burned on one or two purchases in the past because of inexperience and age and I think that a pricing guide/tutorial is one of the most important things to read before getting into high end watch collecting.Thoughts?

I have the chance to get a 111 from an AD. I tried one on a year ago when on holiday and was very keen, but memory can play tricks, so would like opinions as its 200 mile drive and they won't hold without a deposit. Any views both good and not so good welcome. Is it realistic to get a discount? Extra straps maybe? Are these easy or hard to come by?Thanks in advance
