Discussing Jaquet Droz watches in the US is almost futile. It isn't that you can't find this small Swatch Group brand in the US, but rather that it is extremely rare. I saw my first one in Europe personally. I've always liked this brand but haven't known what to make of it. I bought my first new Omega, a Deville co-axial chronometer (caliber Omega 2500) between 2002 and 2004. I immediately knocked it off the night table and sent to the Omega repair (NJ) for a new crystal. Three months later they decided to return it, and it has been keeping excellent time ever since.Last month I bought a new Seamaster 300M co-axial chronometer, again with a caliber Omega 2500. Since the movement has been out for many years, I assume the Seamaster is the 2500c iteration. My question is what version would the Deville have inside?
