- i Love this watch! the look is sporty, function good, and the size is enough for me. the only blem so far is that the metal parts of the band scratch easily, but it still looks and works great.

Seiko SSC221P1 wrist watches news:
With my old Seamaster on the disabled list, I confess that my mind was wandering a bit to thinking about my "ideal" watch. I'd be looking for an automatic chronograph with a tachymeter scale.Unfortunately, my wrists are very thin for a man. The Seamaster sits really nicely on my wrist, but the case is only 35mm. I've seen some really nice chronographs with 41mm cases, but I think that would probably look somewhere between clunky and ridiculous on me.I realize that there are mechanical and graphic constraints on size, but are there any good automatic chronographs with a tachymeter out there with cases in the 37mm range? Thanks.
Here's another question that shows I have too much time on my hands...This question is really not for those who are going to say "I prefer bands, or I wear a band all the time so I don't know". Assuming you PREFER straps over bands, but do wear bands as well, do you choose a band over a strap in hot weather or when working out, so you won't sweat all over the inside of your leather straps? I work out almost daily and we have 90-100 degree heat outside so I am almost always perspiring to some degree. I am concerned that I will seriously shorten the lifespan if I sweat all over them every day during the summer. Should I rotating to my watches with bands if I'm going to be sweaty? Am I just being too anal?
On Matt Kuchar, sporting a RO Chronograph at the daily press interviews. I don't see him listed as an AP ambassador on their web page so I'll be interested to see what other time pieces he wears, if any. Obviously he has good taste, and it did look real good on him.
I have the black croc too but find this one way more comfortable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi FriendsI accidentally chipped the glass of my Pam 164 while walking through a door in my office. My immediate concern is whether (a) this chipping of the glass will affect the water resistance and (b) whether this presents any safety issues in terms of any sapphire glass particles sticking on my fingers everytime they come into contact with the chipped glass Secondly, I have been informed by the Panerai shop in Dubai ( I live in Pakistan so Dubai is the closest panerai dealer) that it will take 28 days for the glass to be replaced. Do any of you have any idea how much it usually costs ? I am attaching a picture of the watch. The chipped portion is just before the 7 o'clock position.
