Seiko SUP179 wrist watches news:
I put this question before you now: Can a man wear a pink watch and retain his masculinity? I made fun of the first guy I saw wearing a "salmon" colored shirt. But, today, it isn't that uncommon. Worn properly, and in the right style, pink isn't always out-of-place. So I wonder, has the time come when a man can get away with wearing a pink watch? When I write about men's watches in white people always fight about whether they would wear them. While one guy can easily pull off a white watch, it definitely isn't for everyone. I expect that even fewer men would be wiling to try it with something pink. Here is what I think: If you take the right type of fairly masculine watch and make it pink, at least a few guys will be able to pull it off. Which brings me to this new-for-2011 limited edition piece from Chopard.Apparently the wife of Chopard's CEO wanted this to happen. It is a limited edition of 1000 piece pink version of the Chopard Mille Miglia Gran Turismo XL watch. Named "Racing in Pi
been build?Heard that the "golden" 2428's and family are actually build in Asia...(had one of those made by Invicta)What's the real scoop ? can they be labeled as Swiss mov? What else out there is been build far, far away from the Swiss Federation based only on the original design and yet allow to carry the Swiss Mov. label
Hey,I posted a little adventure with my G-Shock in the General Forum...If you get a second or 2, Take a look..info/foru...orum/44055.htm
So I've always been the Rolex guy and have been looking seriously at an AT 8500 with the blue dial. Saw it tonight and man is it pretty. Ive been told Omega had some quality issues sometime ago but now the 8500 in house is well done. I know this is 100% subjective but how does the 8500 movement compare to a similar Rolex movement which in this case would be a sub I think.
Last year I bought my 16700 Pepsi GMT through the forums from springer. It was a great transaction and everything was as promised. Today I noticed that it has stopped running. It winds and sets perfectly, but the second hand does not advance once the crown is secured. I gave my wrist a shake and noticed about 1 second of movement before the second hands stops and oscillates slightly. This is repeatable. Looking for some advice as to what the issue may be and any recommendations for local service in Baltimore area. I have a video of the oscillation, but can't seem to post it at the moment.
