Another Modern Classic From Bell & Ross: The Geneva 126 Chronograph Watch
This is the chronograph version of the venerable Bell & Ross Geneva 123, which I discussed here. The pre-BR-01 Bell & Ross is a testament to the design finesse of the French watch firm. Although the Geneva 126 is merely a bi-compax chronograph version of the watch, the look is very different.The beautiful number fonts remain, but with the 126 you have more of them. The Geneva 123 have the 12, 3, and 9, while the Genevea 126 clearly has more numbers displayed. The 126 trades off some of the attractive symmetry of the 123 for a more masculine military look. This watch really is a combination of classic military watch design and old world formality. Size is a conservative 39mm but they wear large given the thin bezel.Inside is an ETA 2894-2 automatic movement with the a chronograph module. This is of the highest grade chronograph enabled movements available, and is visible through the case back. The chronograph pushers are very easy to use, especially without looking on this model

Hello,I haven't posted for awhile, but this was too good to pass up. I have the itch for a gold Rolex to accompany my S/P YM and Sub-No Date. I have been debating between the Two-Tone Daytona, Two-Tone Sub, white dialed datejust with leather band or gold white dial Daytona with leather band. I strolled into my normal dealer the other day just to try Rolexes on to get a feel for which I liked best, had a good time and left.Then, I got a wild hair to go to the other AD in town that I don't normally patronize to see if they had anything different.With great surprise, I got a bit distracted from the gold watches by not one but two (1 white and 1 black) stainless Daytona's quietly sitting in the case and not on a waiting list. Needless to say they monopolized the rest of the visit to that store. Alas, I am just not in a position to drop that kind of money right now( However, I did get that "have to have this watch now feeling" which has just now passed).It was an absoute pleasure trying one

Hey all. I'm new here and looking for some help. I have to admit I'm a computer geek so anything about that I'm expert but as to watches. I'm a Timex kind of guy so any and all help is appreciated.I'm looking to buy the wife a new watch in the $300-$500 range. Need some advice as to brands and e-tailers.In the past she has had 2-tone watches. Seiko,citizen and the likes but I'd like to step up the quality level.She has stated numerous times that she wants a Movado but I don't think I can do that in this price range. Anything comparable to that in my range?thanksZetachi
