Swatch LK344G wrist watches news:
The arrival of a new perpetual calendar Royal Oak from Audemars Piguet is something watch collectors don't take lightly. It was AP, after all, who was the very first manufacture to produce a perpetual wristwatch with leap year indicator all the way back in the 1950s. It was also Audemars Piguet, alongside only Patek Philippe, who would be producing perpetual calendar wristwatches of any kind for the better part of a half-century. The QP has always played an important role in AP's history, and while we showed you the new, updated 41 mm perpetuals a few weeks back, we are now here to show you the fifth model in the lineup – cased in yellow gold. 1 OF 14 All five AP Perpetual Calendar Royal Oaks. This new model – reference 26574BA – remains 41 mm in diameter, and joins the just announced steel and rose-gold examples, both offered with a blue or silver dial. The new yellow-gold example too features a blue tapisserie dial that we have all come to
Hey Guys,Throughout the last 2-3 years I've been truly fortunate enough to have now acquired a few of these magnificent time pieces; now how do I maintain and store them when not in use, so as to ensure they remain in perfect working condition and their over all longevity...?Based on their cost, I really see these watches as investments in art, and would ideally I'd like to keep them in near perfect condition and eventually (G-D willing) hand these down to my kids (that is of course, once I have some)And before you simply reply "watch-winder" Is it totally bad to just leave them in their boxes for 6 months to a year at a time? Is better for them to be continually running, or stop-n-go is okay too? So many questions! What kind of watch winder? Where is ideal to store the winder (for temperature, accessibility, security, etc.)?Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hello all!I am new to the vintage collecting and have chosen Hamilton to be my brand of choice. Oct 2011 is when I started collecting and have picked up 11 watches all from eBay. Now i have learned that eBay is a hit and miss type cite with this type of item. My goal is to build a nice collection of 20's-50's Mechanical Hamilton's. I don't want any with batteries, just wind-up. Half of the watches I have picked up were miss advertised and don't run. I would like to know where I can buy from. Trusted websites.Thank youNevada Marine
HiMy friend has a Jupiter pilot A50927 & he is looking to sell it.How much would it be worth roughly? It's from 1993 & has all paperwork & original boxThanks
Today at my barber the gentleman next to me gets up to leave and pay as I notice his watch appears to be a PP. I compliment and ask to look at it on his wrist. He explains he wants to upgrade to the mechanical movement, leaving me perplexed. He says it¡¯s a quartz... then tells me it is for sale if I would like it. Can anyone tell me more about when these were produced, what is current value of these? Thanks all.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
