Hamilton Clearview Question
while checking out the hamilton catalogue I noticed that the clearview is included for the years1958/59/60, but no image of the watch is shown for thoes dates,whereas for the years 1965 to 1969 the watch becomes the clearview 1, and an image is included in the catalogue,question: was there another clearview for the 50's, which never made it out of the factory, was the clearview 1, to be followed by a clearview 2, etc.Rene might shed light on this, happy week-end.

Two new pieces and I blame these two guys...
Few things are more exciting to a watch collector than when a new piece is incoming. Last summer I had one experience that was even more exciting. I was given the opportunity to travel to Geneva and tour Patek Philippe's factories and their magnificent museum, courtesy of Patek Philippe and my Authorized Dealer. If you are ever in Geneva you really must visit their museum it is beyond belief for any watch enthusiast. They have even more vintage pieces than Dennis. While there I was given the chance to meet Mr. Thierry Stern and order something special to remember the experience by. I ordered a couple things special and I picked them up yesterday. So I will blame the first piece on the gentleman on the right and blame the second piece on the gentleman on the left. Black case, black face, black band
I'm looking for all-black watches. Preferably with a high face to case ratio (aka, not Luminox style with their big cases and small faces). I'm actually looking for a all metal and not-necessarily-all-metal version of my all-black watch. The metal one for daily use, the other for more rugged pursuits (hiking, camping, etc). For both, I like the military or chronograph style.Please don't recommend Chase Durer as I have one already and it sucks.Any ideas?
